Job Description:
Job Responsibilities

• Manage the Product Development Process (PDP) for Sun Life Hong Kong and accountable for effective execution of PDP on time with high qualify in accordance to Operating Guideline; manage and coordinate the activities of all functions during the entire process.
• Manage the product implementation team to prepare product materials including product guide, policy provision and benefit illustration and ensure consistency with other related products materials prepared by other functions including product brochure and training materials. Prioritize product activities from all functions involved in the PDP to make product implementation effective and to meet business objectives.
• Make process improvement recommendations related to the PDP, including how all functions involved with products perform their work. Review product implementation process and make suggestions for PDP guideline.
Job Requirements

• Degree holder in business or related discipline
• Certification in Project Management (e.g. PMP, Six Sigma Green belt), or proven track record in managing projects end to end successfully
• 8 - 10 years of prior working experience in the insurance or related industries, preferably in product management or business management/operations
• Good knowledge of product implementation and thorough understanding of product management process in the financial industry
• Strong project management skills, consulting skills and detail-oriented mindset
• Excellent interpersonal skills and able to secure support and buy-in
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to identify a project's critical path and propose ways to remove barriers or obstacles
• Ability to identify inefficiencies and develop recommendations for process improvements
